Los3golpes is een collectief van bachatadansers in Antwerpen.
Na verschillende jaren van reizen en samen dansen, hebben we beslist om onze krachten te bundelen.
Het concept van Bachata con Los3Golpes is om onze verschillende perspectieven op vlak van bachata te promoten. Hierbij betrekken we ook de andere dansstijlen die zeer populair zijn in de Dominicaanse Republiek.
Nyota is Half Congolese, half Belgian, and 100% passionate about the Dominican Republic. In the summer of 2016, she wanted to start dancing Kizomba but she ended up dancing her first ‘box’ thanks to one of her closest friends, with whom she went on her first trip to the Dominican Republic.
Nyota voelde zich onmiddellijk thuis, misschien ook wel omdat ze zelf helemaal inblendt tussen de lokale dansers. Totdat ze Spaans begint te spreken, dan valt ze door de mand. Maar dat is work in progress.
Sinds 2018 ging ze naar verschillende festivals samen met John, Nushi en Jordy.
Voor Nyota betekent bachata:
- Vrijheid
- Gevoel
- Teteo op zondag met een mamajuana (geen nood, na onze lessenreeks weet ook jij wat een teteo is)
John from Ecuador and Nushi from Bulgaria sparked an instant connection on Antwerp’s salsa floor in 2013.
Their shared love for bachata quickly turned them into partners in dance and in life. Their love story, intertwined with their bachata passion, created a colorful journey filled with laughter, unity, and the magic of the dance floor.
By 2016, they were jet-setting to bachata festivals worldwide, immersing themselves in the Dominican culture. Along the way, they met Nyota and Jordy, fellow enthusiasts of traditional bachata from Antwerp.On one of those trips, Los3Golpes was born.
To John and Nushi, bachata isn’t just a dance—it’s a source of joy, connection, and unforgettable adventures, often fueled by Mamajuana (:
Jordy is volbloed Spanjaard. Zijn dansverhaal begon in 2016, toen hij Cubaanse salsalessen ging volgen. Tijdens zijn wekelijkse dansfeestjes leerde hij John, Nushi en Nyota kennen. Hun enthousiasme en hun cultuur overtuigden Jordy onmiddellijk: ook hij ging overstag voor de Dominicaanse bachata. Een hele nieuwe wereld die voor hem openging, en één waar hij zich helemaal thuisvoelt. Want sindsdien is hij op elk feestje in België, Nederland of Duitsland te vinden, en op zo goed als alle bachata-festivals.
Voor Jordy betekent bachata:

At 24, Eduardo is not just a content consultant; he’s also a dedicated dancer with a heart captivated by bachata. His bachata journey started a year ago with the Golpes and he quickly immersed himself in the culture, improving his skills on the dance floor while simultaneously infusing his creativity into content creation.
From crafting engaging posts to offering innovative ideas, Eduardo has already made his mark. We are very delighted he’s taking the next step by joining the team to elevate the brand to new heights.
